I have not heard anything about him so far. Is he hurt? If not is he playing poorly?

He's dusting off the cobwebs. Hasn't played a regular season game since December of 2003 -- nearly two years.

I thought he was set to play this season?

he has played alittle. Nothing spectacular. Currently he's the 4th receiver.

He's played in the first two games, but it looks to me like he's getting used to playing again.

He has a couple of catches for like 30 yards. He dropped two 30+ yard passes though, he'd probably be #3 on the team in yards if he caught those. =/

Edit: He didn't drop one of them, he just didn't fight the corner for it.

hes played, welker has been taking a lot of the 3rd wide sets though... the few times he has been hes already had a few mistakes... against denver he just fumbled a ball by himself, no one even hit him... in the jets game he had a holding penalty on a first down run by sammy morris...

so saban is trying to get him in there but he keeps messing up

Is it because he is not back in game day shape, or what? Just curious, cause the guy is a beast when he is healthy.

We are yet to see the beast come out in Miami.

Isn't it amazing that guys with the biggest arms in the league always seem to drop the dadgum ball!

Thomas Jones and Mike Pittman combined for 14 fumbles in 2003 for Tampa.:egads:

Stop body-building and learn how to hold the freakin' ball!

I think Welker's taken him out of the slot because Linehan is focusing on the short yardage and two torn patellar tendons doesn't spell "agility".

That was a ridiculous comment the announcers made when they said he at first didn't catch the ball and then said he didn't fight for the ball. Are you kidding? It was way underthrown. That was Gus' fault for not throwing it out farther. I'm very surprised he has not been used more. He is our best WR. He can be the deep threat and can pose match up problems that Chambers can't. To put Wes in instead of Boston is crazy. We will never be a serious offensive threatuntil we can open it up and the only way that happens is IF Boston becomes a big part of the passing game because he is a big threat if used! Until then we will be a dink and dunk team that will score minimal against the good teams.
