Why hasn't he turned out good? Would he be Frerotte 2?

1.because that organization is horrible(and id even say hes good given that situation... i knew he was tough but he shouldnt be alive right now)
2.NO

Cmon you cant blame everything on the organization. Carr hasnt played well, he is part of the problem there. I think Carr's a dud, i dont want him here.

ok your right david carr should as soon as the ball gets to his hands throw it and run down field and catch it himself....im not sayin hes perfect no one is but that oline is the worst offensive line ever his running back is decent and his wr has been hurt all year...his defense is horrible never get him the ball back they watch in the offseason as all the oline men get signed to other team then give morlon greenwood like 5mill a year then draft time comes along and alex barron a great OT prospect is on the board and they pick travis johnson who shoulda been a late 1st at best....the oline this year is the worst oline in history domanick davis is doing average and his only offensive threat has been hurt all year...i would kill to have carr here with the weapons we have and the pass blocking we have been getting recently carr would be a monster.

when carr has time he still makes bad decisions. he's a bust, plain and simple

WRONG...................AGAIN.......when he gets good protection he is extremely accurate and completes passes to *** receivers (we wont count johnson cause hes been hurt all year)

Going by this, I couldn't find many situtations that spoke good of david carr, even amoung a team of medicore, he should be head and shoulders above the rest of the team, and according to all the situations he isn't. The only splite I liked was his 2 and 7 or less, he has a very good passer rating on second down...

Well Casserly and Capers should be fired thats for sure. I agree with the fact that the oline stinks and the organization didnt do enough to fix it. That said, Carr has been pretty bad for years I dont see him being a great talent stuck behind a poor team, the Texans arent this bad. I dont like the way he and Capers passed the buck to the OCoordinator early in the year either. Carr is a career backup IMO, sorry if you dont agree.

i never said carr is just some amazing talent stuck on a horrible team im saying he is a good QB who put in the right situation will be a very good QB .....and BTW carr IS stuck on a horrible team andre johnson is hurt and the oline is garbage there is not much he can do especially with the schedule they have(L at BUFF - L v PITT - L at CIN - L v TENN - L at SEA - L v IND - W v CLE - L at JAC - L v IND)and on a horrible team he did good last year

yes, you seem to...

j/k.. i think Carr is a quality QB, and yes you certainly can blame an organization for a QB's progress (or lackthereof)... for the beatings he takes, and the nobody's he has to throw to, he's still thrown remarkably few picks this season...
