I'm not sure what some of you guys are whining about, but David Garrard has put together a couple good seasons and has had an entire year of rehab. He's a great backup, obviously Matt Moore is the starter unless we draft.
 
It's just a depth signing. It doesn't bother me.
 
That's what I don't understand all the moaning...you need a vet backup...tell the truth if not manning,this is the best case scenerio for me and groom a rookie,but you all make me feel bad for liking this over flynn or smith -___- oh well,sign a free agent or 2 and let's attack the draft!
 
Moore is the solid backup. No need for 2...
 
If Moore is thestarter then he will want 4 more million in salary and we will need more salary cap money and cuts and restructuring for that. Is Fasano next?
 
finally got a qb to sign with us....great job ireland...GM of the year.
 
I think this is a good move. Mobil QB to compete for the Starting job. Worst case great backup. He i think is better than Henne.
 
1. Because we still don't have a starter, and haven't for 13 years.
2. Garrard will compete for the starting job. You can be rest assured of that. And he has a good chance of winning it since Moore is nothing but a backup himself.
 
Atleast this should put an end to all the Tebow rumors. THANK GOD

I completely agree with this. Been saying since Garrard was brought up he would be signed by this team. When Henne went down last year Ireland tried to sign him but was turned down because they could'nt work out a contract and Ireland would'nt promise him the starting job.
