I am listening to the Tony Sparano press conference as I type this. His exact quote on David Martin was:
"He has a headache right now, and is listed as day to day."
First I really heard anything about him. (didn't see anything posted either, sorry if its already here)

TS didn't sound super concerned, sounds like a mild concussion to me. But that is just speculation, no statements released that I saw.

GET BETTER DAVID! YOU AND ANTHONY ARE BEASTS
 
Yeah watched that too - he didn't sound super concerned but also sounded like he didn't want to talk about it. I agree, probably a mild concussion, but you never know with those things.

He got knocked pretty good, hope he is able to play on Sunday.
 
Thanks for the update........It looked like he got KO on the field, so a concussion sounds right........I bet that headache is anything but little lol

I just caught the end of the live conference, but I didn't hear anything on Langford. I sure hope he is OK. If anyone else heard please post.
 
None of us really realize how crucial Martin is to our chances of beating the Ravens. Without him we are likely screwed because Haynos is not nearly in the same playing field as him.

I heard the whole press conference and there was no mention of Langford from Sparano and no questions were asked about Langford from the press.

Hopefully that is a good sign.
 
I was wrong about Martin. I didn't think he would last after seeing his 2007 sub par performance, especially blocking.

But he has proven me wrong and been a very solid role playerin 2008. His blocking has improved dramatically. He has made tough, critical catches.

He has been a major contributor in 2008 and I am very proud of him.

Ya like that catch he had yeserday where he got blazed up and his head was messed up yet he held on to it until he was down.
 
Martin's athletic ability has saved him from injury in recent weeks. Anyone remember a few weeks back he took a similar hit to the neck/spine and came out of just dazed.

I love our TE's right now. Haynos is another big target and probably should've had his second TD yesterday. Having all 3 sunday would be great.
 
nothing aganist haynos, but we need martin in there. Love the way he is utlized, he is a big target and would be a huge losee if he cant go vs the ravens
 
Martin is replacing Camarillo (sort of), our lack of depht at the WR position makes Martin a very crucial part of the gameplan especially against a defense like Baltimore. I hope he's not seriously injured because our chances are much better with him than without...
