I agree and if that is the case I will have no problems if Philbin CJ's his ass out the door.

Vontae really hasn't wined from what I've seen. Hell from everything I've seen from Vontae, mostly from his twitter and interviews on the website, he got the message and understands he has to work harder. Problem is, if he's out of shape (and from the sounds of it, part of that has to do with being able to get away with stuff in the past) it's not a situation where he can just come to practice and be ready right away. He's gotta get back into shape and that takes a few weeks.

I think Philbin, Coyle, and Anarumo are taking the right approach with Vontae though.

Smith seems to be responding well to the coaching, but he's gotta improve other bad habits.

You have no excuse to come to camp out of shape. Especially if your playing for a south FL team. You need to be tip-top.

I've had enough of both Smith and Davis. One can't cover while the other consistently injures himself celebrating. I don't know how you gain weight as an athlete in South Florida anyway. You can walk outside and shed a pound or two.

Davis will be fine imo, Smith will be what he has always been, an average corner that can't tackle.
