What do you think? In a couple of years will we be talking about them like we were those two in the past? It would be amazing if our secondary was fixed for many years in this one draft!
 
it's way too early to tell - we can only hope. and hope i will.
 
I think they have the potential to. That would be awesome, and Davis is just as physical. Sean Smith intrigues me so much. I am hoping for big things (no pun intended) from that kid.

I want another probowl where most of the defense is wearing Dolphin Helmets, like it used to be.

Davis/Smith = Surtain/Madison is what i'm hoping for...it'd be nice to have opposing QB's scared to pass on our defense for fear of getting Intercepted thanx to those 2...
 
sam and pat were pretty similar physical specimens, these two are way different, I'm just hoping they perform to thier potential.
 
wow. I'd never even thought of it that way. I wish. Surtain used to be my favorite player on that defense, except for Jason Taylor.
 
I'm really high on each. Who knows how they'll turn out, but they have all the makings of very good (to great) corners.
 
it's a little disrespectful to sam and patrick to just say that two unproven rookies will be as good as those two were... you can't taint their achievements like that like it's a done deal and it's this easy to find a CB tandem that is as dominant as they were

i am confident that at least one of them will come along and be a great player, but c'mon...
it's like saying henne will be like marino...
