Davone Bess Interview

YESSS!! I like what he said. He sounds like a character guy and a hard worker. I won't be surprised at all if he is our surprise UDFA. Looking forward to seeing him make plays.
 
Good interview! I really hope this guy can bring something to the team. He seems to have the right attitude and work ethic, we'll see if he has the talent to go with that. Could be a GREAT F/A pickup and maybe for once other teams will be kicking themselves for not getting him before us.

Haha it seems like Davone Bess is everyone's favorite draft pick this year (even though he wasn't drafted). I can't wait to see the kind of talent he has because everyone's raving about him.
 
What did he say...I'm at work and don;t have speakers.....i'm telling you guys this guy has potential!

That's what I think may happen. look at the competiton for the #3 WR:

Derek Hagan
Tab Perry
David Kircus
Greg Camarillo
Devone Bess
Jayson Foster
 
He is slow. He will have a hard time separating from DB's in the NFL.

I don't care what his 40 time is. Davone Bess plays very fast on the field. That being said, I would hardly consider him slow. Keyshawn Johnson is slow. Mike Williams is slow. Davone Bess is not.
 
There's a reason why he wasn't picked in the draft. The system he was in. They threw the ball in ridiculous amounts at Hawaii. If you read what this draft is pointing too, it's going to be smash mouth football. Put him in a West Coast offense, and he'd do fine. This is going to be run, run, run. The question you all should be asking about Bess is can he tackle??? Cuz, S. Teams is the only place he'll be able to make an impact.

Exactly, he will be our return man along with the QB that was picked up as a UDFA
 
damn i missed the interview but im excited to hear the positive responses...as u can probably tell by my sig, imma big believer that this kid has the goods to be an elite slot guy for us eventually...
