Davone Bess status?

Anyone know the injury status of D Bess? Hurt his knee very late in the jests game. Hopefully he is ready to go. If healthy, I predict a very good year for him.
 
He was seen working out at this week's OTAs but he doesn't have to be ready to go until August when training camp begins.
 
He looks thinner in the thread with the photos of the OTA workouts....hope can get the ball to him again, last year was a down year for him.
 
Less Marshall, now more Bess. Guy is automatic on third down

Henne wasn't feeding him 5 yard curl routes on 3rd & 10 all year.

I can't tell if this is a shot at Henne, Bess, or both of em. If you're knocking Bess, you shouldn't cause he is great at getting us a first down.

I love Bess. Favorite receiver now that BMarsh is gone.

Yeah, Omar jumped the gun right after he got hurt and claimed it was a major injury that would keep him out all of training camp and part of the regular season. Once tests were actually done, it was obviously determined to be nowhere near that serious. He is already back to 100%.
 
I could be totally wrong but it wouldn't surprise me if Bess was traded. I just see us going towards slightly bigger receivers more speedy receivers and using the TEs for the shorter stuff.
 
I don't see bess getting traded at all, his skill set is great for what philbins trying to do on offense. Also, bess runs excellent routes and is one of the hardest working players. He's a great guy on and off the field, he's what philbin was talking about when he said "high character guys."
 
Devone " Third Down " Bess is my ****ing boy!!!!! He should be 100% already and set for a comeback year. Go Bess!!!
