I hope that they know what they are doing. If Tannehill hadn't compromised on some of the offset provisions, she threatened to let him go back in the draft for next year. Everything was resolved but the fact that she was prepared to push with that language of an ultimatum makes me question her judgement. The total success of the organization is predicated by "on the field" success. I can see her being unable to compromise in future contract negotiations.

The team's cap management has been a debacle for years. The decision to stand firm on offset language on all contracts is a step in the right direction. I agree that we needed to get Tannehill signed ASAP, but I respect that the team is trying to minimize the amount of dead weight we carry in our salary cap.

No she said Tannehill was prepared to re-enter the draft.
 
i've spent time in ross and irelands company before an lets just say i think it is relevant...with the way they treated my wife...pulled her right up to the table ordered her a beer gave her 30 minutes of their time at least...i don't think that would have gone down had my wife looked like broom hilda
 
just imagine if we had played hard ball to the point tanny did go back in the draft and become legit for someone else...holy hell this place would RIOT
