the kid from hampton is a good player-but at that spot -idk how to justify that
and now murphy- a kid that is projected 6-7, to trade up- hwen there are guys like roy schuning and oniel cousins still on the board
not a good way to go into the 5th round with out a pick. i was expecting taking a lot more need type players instead of these hit or miss reach players. i would rather have went safe, im trying to keep in mind that billy p knows what he is doing but if u r a draft expect it sure doesnt seem like it. a lto of my liking of these picks so far have been loyalty to billy p and faith in his choice, but a 4th rounder should b a major part of a team, not some guy who will prolly get cut or b barried in the depth chart

I am not nuts about these picks either. They need a wide receiver and cornerback last time I checked.

I have a lot of faith that Bill Parcells/Jeff Ireland are better talent evaluators and GMs than I am. I probably wouldn't have picked these guys here, and the picks don't make me jump up and down with joy, but I have faith that they'll turn out.

The Mel Kiper list you are looking at is not worth commenting on. Kiper has not put together any championship teams.

You didn't like Henne, you don't like the picks today. Please send me your resume, minus the spelling mistakes, and I will contact Bill Parcells for you. You are GM material!:woot:

Listen people I think I trust Parcells Ireland and the new scouting staff alot more then how my fellow DOLFANS feel. The fact remains no one knows how good any prospect will be including our own Jake Long. Relax and let our new staff build our new team... The future is bright....

When any of us here are GM's or coaches, or any of us have went to the pro day workouts or the combine, then I'll start using that knowledge
I'm not trying to say no one here knows what they're talking about. I'm merely saying that we have GM's and coaches that get paid millions to do this stuff. I'll trust them first. Even if I agree or understand.
Just look at that messed up 6th round pick New England made years again that everyone said was a waste.

Last time I checked we also needed oline help. This is exactly what I saw happening. We got our starting LT in round 1 and now in the mid rounds(Round 4 to be exact) we got a guard to compete with Mormino for the starting LG position. Good pick.

Also, word is that Dallas was set on taking Murphy at #111, which is why we made the trade with the Bears. Also is why the Cowboys then traded the #111 away to the Browns. Parcells got his man.

Some people have no clue

Parcells is building our lines. These are good solid picks! Langford and Merling with be bookend DE...Murphy may be good enough to start

Well from what i can gather we got a Richard Seymour clone in Langford big tall kid with tons of strength to be our DE for a decade and then picked a HUGE very strong LG project to work with an O-line background head coach. Two spots we needed and we got the guys high on our board apparently so all in all a good day.

Our front seven especially our D-line is NASTY and our O-line is now deeper and complete. SO STOP CRYING

and they didnt need a guard or dline help?

that was addressed ALL through Fa and the first rounds in the draft...this is crazy..i will be falling asleep in most games...and sad thing is we will still loose upward to 14 games

I trust Tuna! He's built enough championship teams. I will not question any of his decisions at this point. I will wait and see how everything pans out on the football field.

Well from some of these negative comments about the draft choices i am very happy that these few people arnt running the show or we would have drafted darren mcfadden and a wideout in round 2 and 3
