from Omar's twat:
Channing Crowder broke up a nice 25 yard pass to Fasano, who juggled ball but couldn't bring it in.

Will Allen picked of Pennington pass intended for Anthony Fasano. Nobody really should test Allen during training camp. Allen is dominant.

Rod Wright sacked Henne, but Cam Wake was right there after beating Andrew Gardner.

Akin Ayodele blew up an end around handoff to Anthony Kimble for a 10 yard loss. But 1st team D vs. 3rd team O wasn't fair.

Pads came on for the first time and I must admit I finally felt Cameron Wake, who came close to two sacks.

Pat White is throwing with plenty of zip today

Davone Bess just made a nice one handed catch during position drills. He's bigger but hasn't lost much range.

Justin Smiley is missing from the morning practice. Andy Alleman is starting RG

Veteran CB Eric Green is still working with starters. Sean Smith is his backup on the left side. Vontae Davis primarily on right side.

Davone Bess, Brian Hartline, Ted Ginn Jr., Chris Williams are the guys fielding punts. Surprising Anthony Armstong isn't getting work there

Donald Thomas pushed a blocking sled during practice since he was being held out of physical work.

William Kershaw is paired with Reggie Torbor as the second team inside linebacker.

Nice to see Wake getting in the backfield.

We have had bad luck with "Cameron's" recently.. Cameron Worrell and the Double Cam, Cam Cameron. Would be nice to hit on the 3rd time's a charm thingy.

he's key...especially if taylor doesn't have much left in the tank...which i have my doubts he does.

it's a bit too much for him to be a key contributor IMO. if he can get a few sacks and some pressure, i'll be happy. i'm looking at Charlie Anderson to put up better numbers, to be honest. he has to deliver in his second season here.

You can never get the real story about line play or pass rushers until the pads are in full effect.

Play JT for 15 to 20 snaps on defense (depending on the game), and line him up at TE for about 5 plays a game.

We lined him up there before and I think he would be sick for the wildcat/spread. A 6'6 guy who can run, catch and plow into defenders after the catch would be a good thing for it. It would also be good for matchups because of his height and reach.

Imagine sticking Taylor at TE, with Turner and Sean Smith on one side of the field.. Smith was a WR. That would mess with defenses bigtime. And a big advantage against those 5'9 midget nickel D- backs.

Man, I wish I was on the coaching staff. HAHA

also a tidbit from CBSSports training camp live updates

CB Jason Allen, seemingly overlooked in the derby for the spot opposite Will Allen, didn't help his cause when RB Lex Hilliard lowered his shoulder and laid him out on a sideline run

why am i not surprised?

I don't know about JT as a TE, lol. I know we used it some time before, in the red zone, I think. But that was out of necessity, I think plenty of red zone and receiving targets will emerge.

i think it's key. there's not another young pass rush specialist on this roster.

of course, i'm sure the olb spot get some major talent influxes this offseason...unless walden, anderson, and wake really show up.

jt at 20 reps per game as the passing downs olb opposite porter makes sense to me.

the te thing does not...at all. :ponder:

Awesome for Lex Hilliard. I have had a feeling for a while that Lex is a guy that is going to be hard to cut.

It would be nice if he could become a fullback. I think he does have alot of potential
