Lets say you have two choices come draft day.You either take D'brickshaw and gain an elite lineman and an anchor on the line, and then take a Qb in like the 2nd round or maybe 3rd and hope you get a steal.

Or do you take that elite Qb in the first and try to fix the line through free agency and lower rounds.

Knowing we have needs on both, what do you do?

D'Brick. Mueller has a pretty good eye for qbs, so i think we could get a good one in the 2nd or 3rd.

The line always comes first in my opinion. Brick.

I want the best LT this team can get in the draft. If that's Ferguson, great. If it's Winston, that's fine. If it's one of the guys behind them, that's good too.

I'm growing more and more convinced that I want a C over a QB in the second round, too.

Brick, for sure...but did you really need to include his last initial after saying his first name?

don't want to confuse him with all the other D'brickshaws in college football.

Well normally when you talk about a player it's first name and last name or just last name. I can spell D'brickshaw odly enough but i don't even want to try fergueson(that's probably not even close).

IMO, there is no elite QB in this senior class that would fit what we try to do on offense. Yes Leinart is an elite QB, & he's good at throwing the deep ball in college but he gets a lot of air under his deep balls which NFL DBs will eat alive. Now if there was a QB rated as high as Byron Leftwich or Ben Roethlisberger (perhaps Jr Brady Quinn) that came to us then you take them over D'Brickishaw. But as of now, it's da Brick.

Youung Will Be Avalible In 2nd Round Maybe.we Should Grab Em.

A question to you all since I dont know.....do rookie LT's usually step right in and play well their first season...or does it take a year or two?

Good question but to me the obvious pick is a qb. We have ignored the postion for 10 years and this is the result. It boggles my mind to think that there are still going to be people who are against drafting a qb high after what we have seen the past six years.

You got to have a good line before you have a good QB. So I pick Brick.

I should have read the results first. It blows my mind. I have come to the understanding that there are certain people who would take a kicker before a top notch qb in the draft simply because they want to seem "smart" and not make the obvious choice.

If you people want to watch the same old crap at qb that we have had for the last 6 years be my guest but I have higher standards for this team.

or maybe people just like ferguson?

although i'm not sure what i'd do. if the choice is leinart or ferguson, i'm taking leinart. if it's ferguson or vince young or any other crappy QB in this class, i'm taking ferguson in a heartbeat, then take two QBs in later rounds (or free agency)
