I'm a little bit concerned about the depth of the DB's. I think that the Fins need one more sure safety and one more sure corner. I like the young DB's that they've gotten over the last three years with late picks and rookie free agency but I would like to see a little more experience. I'm not sold on Tillman starting and I think Howard is getting paid too much to do very little. I know that Tillman is a great athlete but he stays hurt. Howard was the starting corner for the Panthers when they went to the super bowl but the $25 million contract was a little bit too much for a guy that doesn't make big plays. He's more of a dime back if you ask me.
I hope the Fins are taking a look at the DB depth in New England. They will have to cut a couple of guys who could help us win. I also hope that Lance Shulter comes down on his price tag and signs.
I really believe that quality depth at DB and the defense learning their new system will be the key to getting back to above .500 ball.
