I've heard some question Culpep's intelligence, inability to read defenses, etc. Is there any truth to this? Maybe some Vikings fans will chime in.

Culpepper will fold during crunch time against good Ds. He has never been a comeback guy. The only thing he was missing is fumbles during crucial moments in the game last night. The biggest concern you should have about Daunte is that he turns it around quickly. He has a very fragile ego and once the press and fans turn on him he will take a nose-dive.
Flame me if you want. I've watched him play every NFL game he has played in and he's fun to watch. He still has a lot of room for improvement in reading defenses.

JAGFISH said:UGH! Jeff George had the exact same question marks as did Ryan Leaf and Heath Shuler, talented QB's who had question marks when it came to decision making.
owenvas said:Yeah and they all sucked, Dante is one of the elite QB's in the leaugue and his credibility is still in question. Think about it! Micheal Vick doesn't excactly get praised for his QB play either.

He has done well enough to have one of the best passer ratings and completion percentages in NFL history don't know how much that has to do with intelligence or that he can just play!
