Free agent DE/OLB Mark Anderson will reportedly visit the Dolphins.

Anderson is coming off a bounce-back season with 10 sacks as an edge rusher in New England. Indications from Miami suggest the Dolphins will flex between 3-4 and 4-3 looks. Anderson is a good fit as a defensive end/outside linebacker hybrid to bookend Cameron Wake on passing downs.

source? hmmm, this will be a very nice signing, he can definitely get after the QB, and we can still him from the Pats, I just hope if we sign him he is not the only passrusher we add, but slowly were starting to make some moves, solai resigned, we signed marshall, we added hicks for Oline depth, added westerman who is a good LB for depth, flynn coming to town tomorrow, mario manningham maybe coming to down, and now anderson, not great but things are coming together.

Here is your pass rusher. Ideal guy to bring in if your are the Dolphins.

I still think we add another one in the draft

CK will be happy!

Let's go get this guy, don't let him leave without a contract!

Yes count me in two birds with one stone .fffff the pats

Get this guy in here now..We need him in the worst way.

Philbin comes from an organization who did it/does it the right way. We shouldn't be shocked that we aren't out there signing big name guys who are exiting their prime (minus Mario Williams who is in his prime). They have spent smart money so far (Hicks could be debatable because he's old, but his versatility could make him worth that money). I don't think we splurge on Flynn either. I think we get him for a reasonable price if he indeed signs on. If that's the case, I fully expect us to try and trade down and pick up an additional 2nd rounder. If we don't get Flynn I think they'll do what they can to get Tannehill, but my point is, I think Philbin will try to help instill the philosophy that you get good by building thru the draft, not spending money on a couple big name guys in FA. Something we haven't been good at since JJ put together a top 10 defense in the mid/late 90's.

Where is CK? Dude will be extremely happy about this visit. CK has been pimping this guy as someone we need.

If the Pats are throwing him away doesn't that throw up a red flag ?

C'mon FinsFan74, be nice....let's not get too down in March...

Why not, so far Ross has lost out on everything he wanted since he's been here, except for some d-list celebrity owners.

To be fair, look around the league. For the most part, guys follow the money. It's not about what a player thinks of the owner. They want to get paid. Dansby got paid and he came. If ownership issues were a big concern amongst players, no one would sign with Washington.
