GAAAWWWDDD he looked awful last night, burned to death by Royal, and penalized on consecutive plays....And to think some of us would have welcomed him here....I guess his head is just somwhere else

I don't think Deon Sanders could have handled Royal. The guys ran perfect routes and is lightning quick. Not that I care for Hall. He is highly over rated

Don't forget last year when he lost that game for atlanta by getting 2 or 3 penalties in a row and throwing a tantrum

D Hall is one of the best corners in the league. get a clue.
E Royal is quick. very precise routes.

and D Hall can out play our corners with his eyes closed, one hand tied behind his back and on one leg. haha, ok ok i joke but seriously.

i found it interesting that two former Hokies were going at it like that. they never played together at VT but still.

Hall is back to his old antics. You think he would have matured just a little bit after last season but, hey, some people NEVER mature. I wonder how Al Davis is feeling now about that 24 million dollar garuanteed contract.. ha.. i love it!!!

D.Hall is overrated, I now live in ATL and use to watch him every sunday with the falcons. Everytime a good WR came to town D.hall highlights were the WR was smokin him on some deep ball. He talks to much and really can't back up anything. I now know why the falcons traded him, the falcons got the best of that deal!!!

i agree with that. in addition to me previous post, D Hall is DEFINATELY overrated.

A CB of his "caliber" and more importantly, contract, should be able to cover ANYONE, right? He got toasted by a rookie :sidelol:

 The hell he is, you need to "get a clue"

The best corners in the league don't get torched that bad on a consistent basis PLUS constantly have an issue with self control. There is a reason Atlanta traded him......his mouth is bigger than his ability.

dude, any corner would have been burnt last night by Royal. he is simply that quick and fast. add cutlers arm and there ya go!

self control is one thing but i'll take a guy who plays with passion and swagger over anything else on my team. you dont want you DB to talk trash?

If he is gonna cost our team 30 yds in penalties, on 1 drive alone, ID rather have his trap duck taped!!!

I don't think anyone likes their DB to talk trash that they can't back up with their play, which obviously Hall cannot. And no, any corner would not have been torched last night like Hall was, just ones that are over hyped.

D hall can be good if he wants....some games he comes to play and some he thinks its all about him....First game of the 05 season he shut down TO and we won but then next season got burnt by TO at dallas so idk what his deal is.....as far as his temper everyone now knows why we got rid of him....don't know how many times he got personal fouls for slinging a guy down who was already out of bounds.....i laughed when he did it in oakland.....he still hasn't learned and he is going to ruin his career because he is a ****ing diva....he has amazing speed and athleticism and good vision down field but he is like randy moss.....plays when he wants too........:rolleyes2:

Terrell Owens had 112 yards and 7 receptions that game.

That isn't shutting him down. 16 yards per catch is shutting him down? That's terrible.

The guy you shut down is Donovan McNabb. He completed about 53% of his passes and averaged about 5.7 yards per completion. They had like 0 running game that day.
