Sir:

You have done more for the betterment of this franchise than any true fan could have asked, dreamed or imagined. Your stewardship has been exemplary. Having said that... the time for real change has come. Your planned succession of Bruce Beal as owner should begin as soon as this season concludes.

Know that your reign atop the Aqua/Orange throne will stand you well; Hard Rock is a glistening monument to your achievements as 'master builder'... however, building a consistent winning team to reclaim the AFC East crown, has proven equally elusive to your hand.

Command your seat in the 'luxury box'; allow Beal to reshape the braintrust of this franchise with superior football people, who'll see his Boston heritage as the clarion call to quintuple their efforts, and slay the Kings of The North.

The Draft is coming... we must be ready.

let's see who takes the fall next week. Gase and Tannenbaum have to fight for their jobs

Neither one will, they have THE out, their qb was lost for the year, and starting mlb, so they get a mulligan

I'm sure glad you mentioned that. so an out for not having the appropriate backup to Tannehill after his injury in Dec 16? That means an entire free agency/trade period/draft occurred and they decided to have a knee heal on its own after a partial tear to the ACL? If we had been better prepared at qb, we have lost more or the same games, but we would have been ahead of next season already by having Tannehill back and a rookie or better veteran with experience. What did this team see in Matt Moore as a potential starter after the games against NE and Pitt last year? Let me not get into the MLB debate

Hmmmm......RT has a medical opinion that offered two options, he chose one and it didn't work out....it happens. Ask Sam Bradford how having it surgically repaired worked out for him and you will quickly understand there are no guarantees at all. You can second guess that decision to death, but I don't think the course they took was unreasonable.

With Matt Moore, we have an excellent back up QB....which is where he excels. The team had a full expectation of having RT back this year so their plan of RT /Matt Moore was reasonable. Not sure if you are suggesting we should have cut Matt Moore under contract, but I don't think that was an option or a good move.

What did I see in Matt Moore last year....I saw some thrilling wins and some devastating losses. About what I would expect from a back up......but with Matt Moore, I think he gives you a chance.

Mr. Ross get you head screwed on straight and get rid of Tannenpoop and promote Dan Marino or get somebody who knows personnel way better than the current regime does.........PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Dare we consider one issue: we don’t know whether Beal will be a competent owner who can field a winner. We don’t know if he will be a miser or will do whatever it takes. Or that he has the acumen and insight to make the right moves. It’s a known unknown.

The hope is that he’s using these years to really understand ownership, and the do’s and don’ts. If he’s not doing that, we are going to get an owner who requires OJT.

I am getting to the age where I’m worried I may not see a winner. We can’t keep screwing up more and more generations of players. Time is limited.

I for one and happy to have Ross as the owner of the Miami Dolphins.

Wow... I'm getting ready to celebrate the coming of the New Year and I guess the OP thinks its almost April 1st...

Ross has been the most improved player by far.

If he ditches T-bomb the team gets immediately better.

Gase is the coach, they need better guards, better DE's, a TE and a QB to groom for the future.
