At his presser this morning Mr. Huizenga said he was looking for input from media and fans about how they should go forward after Saban's departure. I thought we could use this thread to post suggestions for the front office to read. Even though they may not take some of our suggestions seriously, I know that they do read these forums and as fans we can impact their decision making process (even if the impact is minimal).

Yeah, I'm sure they're on here right now trying to figure out what they should do. Why even get a new headcoach? They should just let us vote on every issue. We'd go undefeated.

Great Thread

1*Make this team younger
2*Hired a top flight GM
3*serious get JIM MORA JR. a interview this guy works his AZZ off in ATL.

PS I not mad at Nick at all
SEE YA NICK

nice sarcasm, buddy, way to help out your team. This thread isn't for you, is it? I'm not saying that this thread will be used as their exclusive decision making tool (I said as much in my original post, supra). But they will read this in their downtime. During lunch breaks or at home in their personal time. I think that maybe someone in here has an innovative idea that they haven't thought of that could help our beloved fins. So I don't want sarcasm, hatred and nonsense in here (we have other venues for that). This thread is about optimism not sarcasm.

Whatever options/personnel we pursue please consider:

-Balance: unless you are hiring Bill Belichick or the like, please don't give the next HC full power.

-Top notch GM due to the point above.

1. NO COLLEGE COACHES
2. HIRE A NEW HEAD COACH.....NOTA RETREAD
3. GET SOMEONE OFFENSIVE MINDED....POINTS SELL TICKETS
4. WE LUV YA WAYNE

It begins and ends with hiring the best damned GM you can find and letting him have a big say in who is coach.

Bring in the following people for interviews: Capers, Rivera, Cameron, Wisenhunt, Chow, Bratkowski, and Saunders.

Get ready for another year of suck, but maybe with a good GM, some good drafting, and the right coaching moves, 2008 will be pretty sweet.

This hurts, I applaud Mr. Huizenga for being a professional and a class act.

My suggestion is simply this, Don Shula came to this team as a young energetic go getter, yes he had some experience with Baltimore but he was still a young guy,

Let's think out of the box and get someone in here that is younger, offensive minded, and innovative.

I don't want anymore retreads or coaches that are burned out, I want our own "bill cowher".

I would also beg that they get rid of Mularkey and keep Capers.

1. No more college coaches, we have tried that and failed miserably
2. Do not hire an assistant coach and promote him to head coach unless he has previous experience as an head coach
3. Get someone with REAL experience and is proven

I loved Saban because I thought he would be the guy to lead us, and I still believe he could have led us to the Super Bowl. But I hope our next head coach is a great one, because just like Wayne, I WANNA WIN!!!

My 2 top candidates for Head Coach....

1. Cam Cameron
2. Dom Capers

P.S. Although i like the idea of Mr. Huizenga wanting to get an input freom the media and fans as to who our next coach should be, it also bothers me a bit in the fact that we should have people in our front office assisting with that issue. The fans and the media do not know about the buisness of football. I think our GM should be helping it with that aspect. Let the guys who have experience do that type of work.

And a Great GM.
Don't give the HC absolute power.
Draft a franchise QB.
Go young.
Give me season tickets.
