Joe Theismann: I bet if Matt Millen were playing for the 49ers, they'd get more sacks. Because Matt would bring multiple lunch sacks to practice every day.

Matt Millen: You see that play? I want you to watch this. It was a running play. And what I mean by that is, the quarterback handed the ball to the running back, who ran the ball on the play. And that's why they call it a running play.

Joe Theismann: I disagree, Matt. That was a running play because you're a fat piece of s***. That's why it was a running play.

Matt Millen was the worst GM in the history of professional sports,,,,he made Isiah Thomas look like a genius running the
NY Knicks. How does Millen even have a job?....he has ZERO credibility. A couple weeks ago he starts screaming like an idiot at Steve Young. Millen is an idiot.
 
Papa is a pretty good PBP guy. And say whatever you want about Millen as a GM, but before that he was pretty well regarded as a color guy.

Theismann does suck tremendously. But I don't recall any 3-man booth that worked anyway.

Still, the NFLN would benefit from putting in-depth guys in there. It's a football network, for God's sake. Most everyone watching is already a hardcore fan. Might as well feed our urges.

Papa is the least worst of those 3. Joey never misses a chance to be overly & unnecessarily critical of anything that doesn't fall in line w/ his perception of the world i.e. His rant about Marshall tossing the ball to Cutler during the phins/Bears game.

I could swear last night they praised Ted Ginn for his effective use of the sideline during the opening kick off of the 2nd half. Timid Teddy ducking a hit; What are the odds? :chuckle:
 
i can watch any football game, regular season, pre season, any team playing, does not matter, but the nfl network makes it really hard to watch a game on their network no matter the teams playing. they are brutal to listen to.

they should do away with thursday night football on nfl network and have another station take it over, because nfl network makes it real hard to watch any game, and for me to say that, a football lover, that says a lot.
