Simple question: What is the Deepest Position in the Draft? In other words what position is most filled with instant starters except RB that is.

Also conversley what is the least deepest postion?

I dont watch much college ball so I was wondering. thanks.

Well I don't know about calling these players instant starters but right now I'd have to say the DTs look like the deepest position to me.

it's either safety or defensive tackle. lots of talent at both.

CB is by far the worst position this year. Joe Haden, if he declares, is the only guy with a sure fire first round grade.

he is by far the best CB in a very, very weak draft for corner. robinson and lindley are the next best 2 IMO.

WR is starting to turn into a fairly deep position with some of the underclassmen who have declared. It was looking kind of bleak for a while though.

Quantity doesnt equal quality.

Dez Bryant, Arrelilous Benn and Golden Tate are probably the 3 highest ranked WR's on most boards.

Mardy Gilyard and Brandon LaFell are the only senior WR prospects with a chance of even sniffing the first round.

In this case, the quantity is quality.

This draft is Dez Bryant and everybody else. Maybe Benn. Tate, Lafell, Gilyard, all decent at best as far as an NFL prospect goes. Hell Tate might not even be the best WR prospect on his team, and Lafell might not be either. There is a reason Bryant is the only sure bet to be a 1st rounder. Quality is what next draft could be with Julio Jones, AJ Green, Michael Floyd, Demaryius Thomas, Terrance Toliver to name a few.

Well, agree to disagree.

I think Tate is going to be a stud. A tough as nails former RB who routinely made huge plays for his team...that sounds exactly what this WR corp lacks. Somebody who won't curl up in the fetal position or run to the sideline once he gets the ball.

id be thrilled if we got tate!

As a fan of Notre Dame and after seeing their games, I have an inkling that Tate could become 'Boldin-esq'

I do hope he drops. As much as I believe Eric Norwood (OLB to be moved inside) could be the dogs bollocks, getting Tate in the 2nd could be an outstanding complement to a quickly improving Hartline for a nice 1-2 pairing.
