I was posting on another thread and realized that we have moved to #4 in the AFC behind the Steelers, Titans, and Ravens. Our scoring defense is ten points better this year than lst year 27.32 to 19.2. It is the bottom line.

thankgod for a soft schedule....with QBs named hill, wallace and bulger....or those numbers would be alot worse....
our defense is a mask imo....we got absolutley raped by the pats....literally they didnt punt once.....they got stopped 2wice because of a fumble and a ridiculous pick thanks to jason allen.....our defense is scary....against GOOD teams...like arz and the pats game i mentioned....we were terrible...we shall see how they hold up against a offense (jets) in the cold, on the road....with EVERYTHING on the line...

Games arent given in the NFL and if you believe that talk to the Colts who were ranked right behind us that gave up 21 to the LIONS. We haven't given up a TD in three games. True we give up a ton of yardage but not points.
Jets offense isn't ****. I'd rather play Brett Favre then Shaun Hill.

exactly what i stated with some stat rankings to back it up and i was told it dident matter that the 3 teas we just beat and kept out of the endzone are ranked like 25th 28th and 29th in scoring offense. the jets will be a true test, i hope we are ready

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the jets play the same teams, Your anger should be towards a team that is supposed to be good.....brett farve haven't exactly took the jets to the promise land, oh I just found your pacifier.

I dont think hes angry at the players on defence, but their is no denying they have shown glaring weakness'. Cant put my finger on exactly what it is (although the times where the pass rush will all of a sudden dissaper entirely is what pops out), but ill tell you i feel better when our offence is on the field then the D.
This is incorrect. Only the Rams have a lower scoring offense than the Dolphins at 31st. The Bill and 49ers are 20th and 22nd in scoring offense respectively. The 49ers under Singletary had scored 22 or more points in four of the five games prior to last weeks game so their offense had been pretty good.
With the exception of the New England game, the defense has not given up more than two touchdowns in any game since the bye week.
Part of that has to do with many of the players playing together for the first time in an entirely new defense.
The lack of a pass rush will doom any defense and until the Dolphins find another pass rushers to join Porter, the defense will continue to be inconsistent.
