3 names keep coming up that would most impact the building of a strong defense, they are: Zach Cunningham, Jabrill Peppers and Derek Barnett. We all know that for casting the draft without knowing the results of Fee Agency is tough to do but with the way the defense got gashed in big moments last year its easy to predict what side off the ball needs help the most. All 3 of these players appeared in the post season All American teams by many of the respected outlets as first stringers. At #22 I can easily see one of these players sitting there and also sitting a top of the Dolphin's board. All 3 are as close to can't miss prospects as I can imagine based on monster production in college, pedigree and sheer talent. Tannenbaum likes a big name and of the 3 Jabrill Peppers generated the most excitement so if he's there he'll be a Miami Dolphin I'm, Big Mike might even move up to grab him! Somewhere in the first day or 2 we need to get one of the star Center/ Guards to have insurance for the failing health of Mike Pouncey. A quality plug and play Guard who can slide over to Center if Mike goes down again. Other than that it's defense all the way.

All in brother but I hope we get a guard/guard center in FA to open up our draft so we can go all D.There are some fine guards that are a must have in FA to let Ajayi breathe a bit.

I agree with you, if we can solve the problem in Free Agency then the draft is wide open. If we can't there's a couple of star players who could help us in a big way, they are Ethan Pocic C/G LSU or Pat Elfein C/G Ohio State.

I keep seeing Barnett projected in Miami's range, but that seems optimistic to me. It's possible that he slides as he's someone who isn't likely to light up the combine.

Peppers is harder to evaluate, but I like him. He's the type that a creative defensive coordinator would love and can help Miami match-up better with the likes of New England. Scouting reports haven't been super favorable stating that he's essentially more athlete than football player at this point.

I have not seen Cunningham so I can't evaluate him. Reddick, though, I think is someone that would be high on the Dolphins list as well as a linebacker who can rush the passer and cover. I'm also a big fan of Davis.

Agree with you on going defense and others who have posted to fill the guard need in free agency.
