So I have been starting to like the idea of skipping on the big name wrs and focusing our free agency efforts on the defensive side. Bring in Osi opposite Wake, Cox and/or Grimes for our secondary. and Golston at safety. We then use our first 5 draft picks this year on offensive weapons.
1. Tyler Eifert - TE
2a. Terrence Williams - WR
2b. Ryan Swope - WR
3a. Justin Pugh - T/G
3b. Marcus Lattimore - RB
Also resign Hartline and tag Starks.
This would make for one hell of a young and talented offense that can grow together while our D is full of proven veterans and starters that can be the catalyst for the team until the offense hits its stride, then we just start replacing aging defenders with the next few drafts. Thoughts?
