Why haven't we figured out what the Bills have? That was a game they should have won.
Stack the LOS when brady calls out the mike lb he simply falls into coverage. I think every db got on the field. They brought a different bag of tricks to the game.

No question.....the Bills had a very good defensive game plan for the Pats. They also played inspired football defensively and took Gronk out of the game. Very good plan.

They should have had a better plan on offense. Aside from McCoy, they looked terrible. Didn't get Watkins involved and Taylor looked terrible. His deep ball which was very good against us, was awful against the Pats.

Typical Rex Ryan game. He is one of the best on defense, but very weak on offense.

Cause there well coached. Unlike here

Well for starters Lou ain't Rex.

We have played the Pats enough to know what we are doing on defense is not working.
Rex gave up 400 and change to the Pats in the fist game so he changed his game plan up. Any smart coordinator should have an identical game plan of what the Bills used.

They have both the talent and the coaching. We have neither.

You need to disguise what you're doing on defense. Saying the players need to execute is another way of saying I suck as a coach. The bills would stack the line of scrimmage and make people account for them rushing, then drop back into coverage. When they didn't stack the line, the blitz came late and from multiple directions. Excellent scheme against a hall of fame qb.

I said the exact same thing watching the bills and pats.. Why can't we have Rex's scheme. Even when they don't blitz they had the pats line confused because they didn't know where the pressure was coming from. They have an attacking defense and for years we have a read and react defense.

They lost twice to the Pats. Who cares if they kept the game close

Technically you are correct. They still lost the game.

However, defensively, which is the point of the thread, they put themselves in a position to win with their defensive scheme against arguably the best team in football.

The Bills also had the luxury of not having to face Edelman plus the Patriots were really a mess with injuries on the offensive line.

Sadly, the only way we or any of the other division opponents are going to start beating the Patriots is when Tom Brady and Bill Belichick retire. It's a sad reality but very true. You know it and so do I.
