Dolphins finished last year ranked 15th.

I think the defense will actually improve it's standing for two reasons.

I think coach Coyle will improve the secondary dramatically.

I don't think the loss of Merling and Langford will be felt at all. IMO, a healthy Odrick on the field for most of the snaps is a very good thing. I think Odrick will do well at 4-3 End if they really do use him there on rushing downs.

I would guess a return to the number 9 position mostly because I think our QB's, no matter who starts, are going to throw some interceptions; otherwise, I think they could return to #6 like in 2010.

Top 15, outside of Vontae I don't feel comfortable with our secondary, I do like our line but we still have yet to prove that we have a legitimate pass rusher outside of Wake. So top 15 sounds reasonable, maybe top 10 but this is a new scheme, new coach, etc, so there are a lot of questions - not as many questions as the offense though.

Talent wise, top 15. My two biggest concerns are the secondary and not keeping Nolan. Coyle is new at being a coordinator and that's definitely a concern.

I think you are right on the reasons given. I believe Cincy's D has been ranked high due to changes in philosophy. I also think our 15th rank from last year is severely skewed from 1. The non-offseason where guys were out of shape and....2. New England Pats putting up 500+ yards in that first game.
That aint happening this year.
