I think the prevailing theme here would be more how long is it going to be before the defense just realizes it's pointless......they are very very good but they are not going to right such an incredible wrong (our offense) like Baltimore did in they're run. Putting Fiedler in, interceptions or not, gives the offense a guy who is more mobile behind a porous line, can use his feet very well, and I'm sorry, but the 1st half of the tennesee game was an abberation, he was trying to make plays he shoudln't of been trying to make, due to an overwhelming pressure to "shine" so he could keep his starting job. When Fiedler pulls in the reigns and plays the conservative offense he should, he does look a hell of alot better then Feeley. Guys, Feeley is playing the "punting is not a sin" offense and still giving away the ball. If I recall most of jays int's would come when he was trying to bring the team back (like the KC game a couple years ago) and making throws he shouldn't. If we ran the offense like we should, and play field position, fiedler is the better man. And plus, the defense, seems to have a little hope for Fiedler. They don't like AJ (or so the public outrage would make it seem) and by making the switch, we could possibly salvage a win, get a tiny bit of momentum, and go from there. I don't agree with the letting AJ develop thing, the team chemistry is bad when he is in, and I can't really envision him not being replaced with the high draft pick we have if we let him stay in all season. Look I'm not saying jay is the cure or a miracle. I am just saying for the defenses sake, put him back in, play the offense of short throws he's used to...do not make him feel he has to air it out like he did in the tennesee game, and you will see a QB whos better at decision making under pressure and play the short game safer and better. Both of them get picked down the field. Doesn't matter if AJ has the better arm, they both got picked. So now you scale back and go to the short game.....jay far surpasses aj at least thus far in that department. Or so it would seem to me anyway
