We have had a lot of threads about the improvement of the o-line, but what about the d-line or front seven to be more exact. They have improved dramatically with the additions of Ferguson, Merling, Langford, and Starks, from last year to now. Just look at the stats for each weeks leading rusher.
Week 1 vs. Jets: Thomas Jones rushed for 101 and a TD
Week 2 vs Cards: Edgerin James rushed for 55 and no TD's
Week 3 vs Pats: Sammy Morris rushed for 27 and no TD's
Week 5 vs Chargers: LT rushed for 35 and no TD's
We also have 12 sacks and 11 tackles for loss.
I say keep up the great work front seven and we will have more chances to win than not.
