In a 3-4 scheme, how many d-linemen will the Dolphins keep around? I was throwing around names and came up with 8 names potentially in the rotation. Will they keep that many? You figure Ferguson, Holliday, Starks and the 2 rookies (Merling and Langford). Along with Wright, Soliai and Roth.

I'm not sure how many they will keep, but I do agree that those 8 guys you mentioned are worthy of roster spots.

The fact that Vonnie Holliday and Matt Roth are also playing some Linebacker makes the LB's on the squad more expendable. Making room for more DT's.

I was thinking that Merling was going to get a few reps in standing up... Guess the coaches think Holliday is more fit for the job. I agree with that rotation as well.
