once again i am hoping to see a different style and creative style of attacking, starting from up front.. .twists, stunts, etc... blitzes designed to attack weaknesses, and rotate the secondary into the flow. etc.....

but one thing i am also noticing throughout the games, is that even when we had decent, or solid pushes on opponents offensive line, and adding pressure, NOBODY is using their hands to disengage blocks or to get off the offensive line to make a play at the QB... we MUST start using our hands quicker and more aggressively, get off the blocks and start making plays!!! i have been shocked of the lack of technique, or even fundamentals in this aspect from a so-called talented and knoledgeable defensive front.

something i am hoping to see change as well from here on out!!!

Kacy Rodgers...big missing piece from this coaching staff.

I think the bigger problem has been that wven when we do get pressure the opposing teams have had a reciever wide open before the pressure could get there. There have bwen almost no opportunities for coverage sacks this year because Mccain and company cant cover a WR for 2+ seconds.

Some times I wonder if the defensive line really was trying to get the coach fired. The offensive line is as horrible as advertised, but the defensive line has been uncharacteristically flat. Not one of our defensive lineman seem to be able to stop the rush.

^^^Huge, it doesn't help that we're given 15 yard cushions on 3rd and 5! That stuff is maddening to me..Get in the damns receiver face. Allow your PR to get there and give the QB something extra to think about.

The defense was playing like dog **** and they are better than this. I don't know about intentionally trying to get the coach fired but they have been playing totally uninspired ball. I'd go so far as to say they were lying down in the sense they don't want to tackle anyone.

I also think it appeared that way. I just can't believe that Suh, Wake, Vernon, and Earl have zero sacks after 4 games. Coaching had to have been a decent part of that problem. The question is how much of the problem was the coaching. I'd say 65% if I had to guess. I predict we get 2+ sacks from our D-line this coming game.

Hard to get pressure when we can't stop the run. Have to go back to making team one dimensional. Stop the run, force the pass and pressure will eventually come.
