I was listening to Deion Sanders on NFL Network and he was making fun of us even after beating the Patriots and he said something to the effect "the Dolphins probably won't win another game for a long time". That guy is the consummate jerk and always loves to poke fun at us.

Yeah, he LOVES to bash us!!
He's from Miami, for some reason he has always hated the Dolphins...

Maybe because Shula or JJ never pursuited the hometown legend in his own mind. Who cares. He's a punk.

Deion is from Fort Myers which is Northwest of Dade County. He's probably hating on the Dolphins because he went to Florida State up in Trailerhassee.

I heard nothing but respect with how well Miami played when he did the NFL network recap of the game.. He said glowing things about our players throughout the entire segment.

And come on guys, how old are some of you ? Who really cares what a person in some booth says about a team anyways ?? I mean, starting threads over this nonsense ? It's something young teenage girls would get mad at nitpicking and gossiping about over the phone for hours on end... All that matters is the Dolphins record and what you yourself think of this team.

Don't you remember when Sports Illustrated had the Dolphins on the cover in 2006 for their preseason picks ? They had Miami and Carolina picked for the Super Bowl.. Well how did that turn out ? Not so good.. Neither team even made the playoffs, nevermind stupid super bowl aspirations.... So who gives a crap about the media types. Most of them are sycophants anyways

Deion developed a disdain for Miami when Culpepper refused to do an interview with him before that Pittsburgh game 2yrs ago.

I am surprised.......surprised that anyone actually listens to that loudmouth anymore. The only other guy in sportscasting that is a bigger moron than Peion Sanders is his ol' buddy and ex-con Micheal "I love to run my mouth til I get into trouble, then you won't get a word out of me" Irvin.......with Joe "I STILL hold a grudge against the Phins" Theisman coming in a close third.

When any of these guys come on the tv.....the channel changes. If Theisman is in the booth for the Phins game, the sound is turned down....it's automatic.

We ought to start a write in campaign to do away with that illiterate b**** Neon, along with kornholzer, who overstates the obvious and barley has an orignial thought.

Im pretty sure every analysist before the game said we were going to get pummeled by the patriots...shows how much they know : /

I'd add Jamie Dukes to that list :D

I don't know what you hear but I watched nfl net for 4 hours after the cowboys game over and over and the three gave props to miami. Much thought our game plan was genious and deion called out porter saying he backed up all his talk. Deion had ronnie brown at 3 for his sunday and gave him plenty of props.

Well the segment I saw, Deion said that. He was a complete jerk

Read King's Monday Morning QB on CNNSI.com today. There an interesting tidbit about the new Dallas Cowboy book. There's 2 blurbs in King's article, one about Irving stabbing a teammate in the neck and another about Deon Sanders rubbing everyone the wrong way.

Good stuff.

Pearlman writes that Michael Irvin, incensed that tackle Everett McIver, in mid-haircut, would not leave a barber chair at training camp in 1998 so Irvin could get his haircut first, stabbed McIver in the neck. McIver was rushed to the hospital and survived, but not without losing a lot of blood. Irvin's silence on the charge has been deafening. I asked a Cowboy who played on that team if the story was true. "Absolutely,'' the Cowboy said. "I'm surprised it was kept quiet over the years.''

Pearlman writes in great detail about the White House, the house of ill repute Dallas players owned and managed near Valley Ranch, and he lampoons Deion Sanders, quoting Dallas corner Kevin Smith thusly: "When Deion came in, something changed for the worse. Guys who should have been studying football on a Wednesday at 12 o'clock were focused on other things. Deion was such a freaky athlete that he could shake one leg and be ready to cover anyone. But the guys following his lead weren't nearly as talented.'

In the first defensive team meeting Sanders attended, Pearlman writes, Sanders put his feet up on a table, and when defensive coordinator Dave Campo asked him to break down a play, Sanders said, "Hey, coach. I got that dude right there. Wherever he goes, I go. All that Cover Two stuff you're talking about -- y'all work that out.''

Pearlman writes that Troy Aikman was disgusted by Sanders. And Barry Switzer too. He also notes that Switzer's liquor tab during the week of the Pittsburgh-Dallas Super Bowl in Arizona was $100,000. That's a heck of an example to set, Barry. What a great hire.

How 'bout dem Cowboys?

Peion/Deion is a joke as a sports Announcer. When the other 2 announcers are doing play by play review of games, he always opens his mouth with some stupid condesending comment about someone, and uses every chance he gets to promote himself as a what he was as a player. I predict he wont be doing that show next year.

I mean damn, how many times can 1 guy say "How does someone get so open in the NFL" and get away with it. He sucks.
Chubbs
