DeJuan Tribble released!

According to Rotoworld, the Chargers 2008 6th rounder CB DeJuan Tribble has been released to make room for newly signed DT Ian Scott.

This guy was a very good CB at Boston College. He's someone I had hoped we would look at in the draft. So I certainly hope we will look at him now. That would kind of make up for the fact we didn't draft any secondary help if we could just sign this guy!

Yeah I thought we should of drafted a CB. I would like to know why the Chargers thought he wasn't valuable enough to keep first.

I stated way back in March i thought he was a ballhawk. That is a sitaution where he was behind all-pro type corners...Bring him in!

honestly i was never a huge fan of tribble, he was a little overrated at BC and is undersized.

They are loaded at CB with Cromartie, Jammer and Cason...

I agree with this. He's a shrimp. He's only 5'8 or 9. He made a lot of errors jumping routes in college and I think the big Receivers of the NFL will out jump, out bump and out play this guy.

Chargers have a ton of depth in the secondary, so he was probably expendable.

I'm a bit concerned about his size...though we could bring him in during the bye week and see if we can learn anything about the Chargers O/D.

Just a thought.

Darrent Williams was 5-8/9 and was a pretty good cb for the broncos til he was murdered(RIP)We need all the help we can get esp. at cb and wr.
