But when asked if the Jaguars have talked with the Miami Dolphins about Taylor, who has asked to be traded, Del Rio didn't deny it.
"We've had talks with a lot of different clubs this time of year," he said. "We're not going to get into any specific discussions."

Then without mentioning Taylor by name, Del Rio discussed the difficulty of trading for high-profile players.

"In the history of our league, rarely are talented players that still have a lot to offer, rarely are teams willing to part with those players," he said.

Give us that 26th pick and you can have Taylor.....

Even though I love JT to death, #26 is too much to turn down. If we get #26 we'd be picking 2 times within the hour (if everything goes time wise :))

Im hoping something goes down and it sweetens the Deal....

not happening for a first. I wish, but no way anyone is that dumb. JT has 2 years left MAYBE.

I do think we will con someone out of a second and a late rounder for him though.

So far what Parcells wants Parcellls has gotten. Chambers was traded for a second rounder. A team will do desperate things sometimes, you never know.

I agree with you.. but sometimes a team is willing to overpay if they think they can contend for the SB, and the jags do think their time is now.

I dont think you can say he only has 2 years left. JT should be able to last a lot longer then the average player, hes in amazing shape and is even at 5% body fat. JT should be able to go another 4 years for sure.

ability to go another 4-5 years? well thats unquestionable.. now if the question is, is his heart and mind set on playing ball another 4-5 years, well thats a different story.

I do not believe he will retire due to his physical shape...I believe he retires because he understands he has a future in hollywood.

If JT wanted to he could pile up 10+ sacks a season for the next 4 years I imagine...but the question is does he really want to anymore?

If he gets to play for a contender, he will play for 4 more years. J'Ville could be that team.

I'd rather see JT finish out his career here as much as it be nice to get more draft picks, I just can't see JT in another uni other then a Dolphins uni.
