Denver Media Guy: Teams in Manning Sweepstakes are on LOCKDOWN

I was just listening to the Finsiders show and they had a Denver media guy on. He mentioned something that makes a lot of sense.

Since yesterday, the Broncos and Cardinals have been very quiet. He believes this is because Manning has made it known to them that he doesn't want any leaks coming from them. He thinks that Manning wants to be respected more than anything and that if he hears leaks coming from any of these teams, they will be out.

So, don't expect to hear ANYTHING with any validity on Manning until he himself agrees with a team and signs.

I heard earlier that Denver was in contract talks with his PM's agent. That's not keeping quiet.

Yeah, Denver has hardly been on lockdown. They told some dude last night that he called them last night, and that they were 95% sure he would become a Bronco.

Maybe that is why Manning reopened talks with other teams after Denver seemed to be the favorite?

It might be a bunch of Denver douches on the outside looking in, trying to make something of themselves by getting in front of the story more than anyone officially connected with the Broncos. We've certainly seen that here over the years.
