That depth chart will change plenty over the next 3 and a half weeks. Although, barring injury I don't see the starters changing too much, with the exception of Jason Allen landing a starting safety job if he can grasp the defense quick enough.

I agree. I think by, at the latest, he'll be starting week 2.

I don't know about that. He is supposed to be plenty fast and have great hands; if he can pick up Saban's defense I think he will do well there. The only thing I don't know about him is how good of a tackler he is. I do remember he had a ton of potential \but was waylaid by injuries coming out of college.
