IT is very boring at this time of the year and the bad part of this is our front office doesnt seem to be bringing in any more players and therefore I have wonder which positions are the weakest links.
my take is we cant afford as many injuries as we endured last season. to avoid this problem we really need to look for another cornerback , dt, and wr . my question is , do we need to another dt and another te ?
my thinking is we are just one ankle sprain away from being in dire straits so i would hope we could bring two or more players in at least for depth.

are there any positions that concern you guys as in terms of depth and talent ?

i agree, i think CB depth is a problem. theyll hold off on that until the next draft though IMO

If you read this article summarizing an interview by Jeff Ireland, you will know that this is not true. Just because they haven't signed anyone doesn't mean they are not bringing in players.

Every Player is for Sale.

He pointed out the he's still addressing areas of concern on the roster, and plans to continue doing so throughout the season by raiding other teams cut downs, searching the waiver wire.

"No doubt about it, we will be spending a ton of time in training camp, in the 53-man cuts, to try to steal a couple of players off waivers," Ireland said.

He said the next "prime trade window" is right around the end of camp, when teams have discovered what they've got, and don't have from the exhibition games, which exposes strengths and weaknesses to the coaching staffs and front office personnel.

As for the present concerns, he admitted to working out a receiver on Wednesday and said the Dolphins presently have "decent depth" there, but seemed concerned about how young the group was. It seems like the Dolphins would like to find some veterans leadership at receiver.

As to your question about depth concerns, every position except running back, safety and defensive line.
