This is my second stab at a uniform swap. It was actually a request from D0lphan72 before we even drafted him. I held off on doing the swap for two reasons. One, the request came a couple days before the draft. Two, I wanted to make sure we would draft him first. Then I had to wait for school to be out before I could actually have time to do the swap.

Overall I am very happy with this swap. I think it actually came out better than the swap I did for Suh. these swaps. Then again that was my first real attempt at doing a uniform swap. I can clearly get better and I am sure I will as I get more practice doing these swaps. If you would like to see the stages of the swap you can check out my Deviant page. I also have the Suh swap posted there as well.

So here is the before:

That wasn't bad at all if you ask me. My only suggestion is to work with Gaussian blur just a little more so the colors aren't so hard and blend better with their surrounding.

I didn't do the swap for that background. I just used it instead of using the neon green background I was using as a place holder. I used the original background just for here.

Color me impressed

I am soon to get started (again; after so many years!) designing/editing work with my computer using the GIMP software (open source app). I'm poor so have to use this free tool. If I reach the level of DistrurbedShifty, I'll be clicking my heels because you are the man.

OFF TOPIC: Which stylus board would you recommend (if you do use one) for a beginner like me? I hate doing Bezier curves using only a mouse.

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks man. There are ways of getting your hands on Photoshop. As for a tablet I use a Wacom Intuos CTH-680. They run a little under $200. If that is too much just do a little shopping around on Amazon. Just make sure you look at the active area. You can get a tablet that says it is 10x19 but the area to draw in, the active area, is only 5x7.

BitTorrent is a beautiful thing (AKA pm me if you want to get your hands on a copy)
