DeVante Parker is destroying folks at Dolphins OTAs

I'm so damn excited, loved the pick and he's a great kid. This is the type of player we needed and finally landed him.

I hope that Parker and Tannehill gel before the bye.

and he's doing it against our best corner.

I actually wasn't too high on Parker, felt something was a miss when I watch his senior tape, but the kids catch radius and awareness make up for so much...

I was also iffy on him prior to the draft. The separation issue was why. But hey if you just throw it high, he will come down with it. Most corners are below 6 feet i believe

This is who I knew Parker was. I said before the draft he had the highest ceiling of all the WR's. Instant impact, eventually he will become a true star.

Amazing what investing in talent early in the draft can bring you.

Parker has similar measurables to a Roberto Wallace . . . Ireland thought getting those guys undrafted were steals over taking them early in the draft. Clearly talent weighs out in the end.

Don't feel bad, a lot of people over analyzed the senior tape failing to realize that the foot was still bothering him, especially on shorter routes with sharper cuts. He looked lazy on the senior tape in those situations and wasn't getting the separation you wanted to see. . . but the explosion down the field and the overall ability still flashed all over the place.

Yeah Ireland was all about measurables. Thought that if you were big you could develop other skills (see Patrick Turner).

And screw that lol, if Parker ends up beasting it this season I'll be gloating to a lot of people who said he wasn't good

I'll gladly eat that giant bowl of crow (i am right now, well at least tasting it...not all that bad when it turns out good for the team)

It would all be in good fun, but everytime I heard criticisms of Parker i went back and watched some stuff on Draft Breakdown and came around thinking "either people haven't watched Parker, or they're watching something different than me"

I've never been more excited to see what a rookie can do on Sundays! Freaking season can't get here quick enough.

I still think it's Kevin White, but hopefully I'm wrong. Either way, I can't believe we landed this dude. It's the Tannehill pick all over again lol.

I think Parker will eventually be one of the better WRs in the league, but its not going to happen overnight. Yeah, he is doing well against our #1 CB, but its during OTAs, without pads. Lets see what happens with the pads on, when he goes against some of the better CBs in the league, when he is jammed at the LOS by more physical backs, etc. I know Im saying things that most here know/understand already, I just dont want to get my hopes up just yet. And I love Parker btw, I was thrilled that he dropped to us, because he was one of the few prospects that I really knew about since Im a Canes homer, and watch lots of ACC games.
