Devlin 90% accuracy on ESPN sports science

Devlin was a another great Ireland get. I will be interested in watching him develop.

That's actually pretty impressive, his only hit from scouts is that the needs confidence. The hits on him had nothing to do with his skills just that some thought "the game might be to big for him" so with a some good coaching he might surprise us all...

I just wonder where that good coaching will come from on this team.

Ireland didn't "get" Devlin. Devlin chose to come to Miami because it gave him the best shot at sticking on a roster.

Why? Well, because all of Ireland's other "gets" at the quarterback position make it such.... that's why.

Ireland has found diamonds in the rough before. I'm excited to see what he can develop into.

Tony Romo was an undrafted guy from this regime, so who knows... Just watching him speak, I think he has a better mentality than Henne already...

I've seen comments from training camp on Devlin already that have me wondering if he indeed could be the Dolphins starter one day. I was real high on the kid during the draft and I feel we got pretty lucky he went undrafted and chose us. I've read that people think his arm strength is better than they expected, I've seen where he threw a 25 yard pass on a rope, he's completed probably more 20+ yard passes in camp than Henne or Brandstater and he's been very accurate which is what I really liked about him, along with his quick release.

I believe he'll be the #3 QB, Brandstater sucks and won't be around much longer after Moore can start playing. Devlin is a 1 or 2 year project though. He doesn't have Flacco's arm to make up for mistakes but his consistancy, accuracy and anticipation should make up for that, once the game starts to slow down for him a bit he could be a real nice QB.
