Devon Bess is our BEST receiver, point blank period, He was way better hands then ted gin and wayyyy more reliable then Gin. Ted gin has took toooo long to develop into our #1 receiver, He is nothing more then a slot receiver at best, we can use ted gin in the slot kind of like the patriots do with wes welker....
 
Give Ginn Bess' hands and fearlessness and then you'd have something.

I agree with this 95%. Only thing i dont agree with is that it has taken him too long to develop. It usually takes WR about 3 years to develop and adjust to the NFL. The only thing is, Ginn will never fully develop. He is what he is. A #2 at best.

I should be asking you guys....

you say Ginn cant get open on short routes...he did it consistantly.

You guys act like a WR has never dropped a ball. It's not like it's something Ginn has regularly done. Everyone that wanted Braylon Edwars seems to forget the TD pass he dropped a week ago.....it happens! TO is the king of dropped balls. Get over it. Ginn caght more balls and had more yardage than he ever has....at least against a healthy cb.

You've got nothing left to bash Ginn about except that he dropped 2 passes....it happens. So now we're gonna swing from Bess's sac because he caught 1 or 2 passes???

Throw it at him 14 times and see if he doesn't drop a couple....bet at least 1 hits the grass. Then again, he would have to be open to see the ball 14 times.

If you are this upset about Ginn not making that final catch then just don't throw to him on the final play. He had 11 catches and converted on 7 3rd or 4th downs. How can that possibly be a bad thing?
 
Ginn is the best receiver we have right now. Bess is good in the slot, but he would have all sorts of trouble lining up out wide full time. Ginn is not a great receiver, but he is the best we have.
