Dez Bryant

How much money can you have wrapped up at the WR position? We already have Marshall, and now Bess has a sizable extension. Giving Dez the big contract he would have gotten at 12 would have wrapped up too much money in WR IMO. Yeah, he's gonna be good, but WR ain't our problem.

just going to throw my 2 cents in...i wanted Dez as i also wanted them to keep T.Ginn ...we needed another WR on the other side of Marshall...now i know Ginn stunk but his speed would have opened up some room for Marshall same with Dez...but i guess like one of the posters stated Henning would of screw it up.....Marshall -- Dez --Bess and Ginn would not have been that bad....just saying

not impressed.. if there was i guy i think we missed out on is hakeem Nicks.. Dez cant hold his jock..

Here we go..

Funny, because I don't remember seeing a lot of this up untill last night. The internetz is fun.

Funny, I recall alot of people that wanted Dez Bryant pre-draft. If this regime wasnt going to upgrade at TE, which they didnt, I was all for Bryant across from Marshall. Many were actually........

there were quite a few people on here who wanted him, myself included, and now look at him...becoming a beast for the Giants, and Eli's go to guy...

nicks is nice him and dez are the 2 imo first or second year wrs and future franchise players at their positions of the next decade...

but i can't even though i wanted nicks at #25 say that i'm in any way upset with getting vontae davis...

as for bryant can't hold nicks jock...lol you guys do realize that nicks wasn't the playmaker quite last year that dez has been to date in his rookie season...dez just needs roy williams to be sent packing and then it's gonna be on...year in and year out he's gonna dominate

they both are...big wrs with great soft hands and physical players...

Yeah I agree, both are extremely fun talents to watch. Just flat out playmakers.

I can't be disappointed with drafting Vontae over Nicks (though I wanted Nicks bad). Franchise corners are pretty hard to find and their impact on a game is tremendous. Especially since Vontae is a force in the running game.

However passing on Dez at #12 or even Earl Thomas for a Three for One package of Odrick, Misi, and Dobbins doesn't looks as appealing right now.

Yea, who needs pass rushers. Not an important part of the game at all. Give me Misi, Odrick, and then a guy in this years extremely deep WR class any day of the week over Dez Bryant.
