Dice-K vs BC

I did see the Dice-K vs Boston College outing over the weekend on NESN.

I must admit his arm was very live and the fastball was impressive. The ump was giving him the high strike I don't know if he will get that during the season vs Major League talent. But the couple innings vs a college team I saw he looked good.

Not $100 mill good......but good!

I love that money comment about how he's good but not $100 million good, you must be a pretty good scout to judge the guy after 25 pitches in the first week of March. I'm not saying he is worth the money but let's watch him pitch in a real game before we go crazy here.

Anyway it's a little early to judge him considering it was his first game he threw since September/October and after all it still is March and Spring Training where the games mean even less than the All Star game. I think by June there will be a fair judgement of the guy.

We won't know what he has until he see's every team a time of two. Right now he's new and people are going to have trouble picking up his delivery and his pitches so he should start off with a bang right off the bat because no one knows much about him. We'll know by the end of July/beginning of August how good he is. If he's blowing batters away then when people have a good scouting report on him and batters have seen him multiple times, opposing teams will be in trouble!
