Dick Vermeil

I brought his name up a few days ago, but it is unlikely he coaches again....I really think he's retired for good.

Dick Vermeil would burn out, again, as fast as he did with KC. He's too old to try to come to a potential rebuilding situation.

I saw Vermeil at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio today and asked him about the Miami job. He said that he is done coaching for good, so I asked him who he thought would be the next coach, and he heard that Wayne was going hard after Cowher, with Cameron and Mora as back up options.

I think I'll start working out in case he holds an open tryout.

He would have been a graet remedy in my opion. A 2-3 year remedy, but a remedy just the same. It's the same reasoning that I wouldn't mind seeing Bates back here, we need a players' coach right now.

Just say no to 100-year old coaches.

We need a young coach who can be the present AND future.

hey if we could get him to come out and coach us that would be awesome. a defense that he has never had with his offensive know how that would be awesome.

Because he a HUNDRED AND THIRTY-SEVEN YEARS OLD!!!
