I must admit Minkah Fitzpatrick hit gets me excited that we might get an identity and we know he can do that type of hit in the regular season.

Watching big hits and big defensive plays are just as exciting as a good offensive play in my opinion

Sam eguavon had a few good plays, bakers a stud. Preston William's could be special. Laird looks like a nice gem. We have some building blocks. Need to draft a qb to compete and start working on the lines..

The defense in general (except Needham). Perhaps it won't be top caliber but it won't be Burke level bad.

On offense, Preston Williams (until he got talked about all week), plus the TE group and RBs. Chandler Cox ftw! Dude can block.

Jason Sanders. Thanks Coach Rizzi!

every position group has players that encourage me, except OL. CB with X, but need a 2nd CB. DE, but one short. OL? I'm hoping a surprise.
Stretching your definition, I'm excited about the coaches. Even in PS, I didn't see the confusion in the D fans saw all last year under Burke. I didn't see RF/Rosen walking up and down the line telling players their assignments. I didn't see as many stupid penalties. I DID see a concerted effort to eliminate free-lancing (sorry, Kiko).
I'm tempted to say I don't see as many bottom-of-league players this year, but that's because a lot of this year's roster is new faces. Guys like Eg, Laird, Deiter have shown flashes, but I want to see that through 16 games with improvement over time. I'm excited for players and coaches. Not so much for W/Ls

A lot of positives in my opinion. Liked what I saw from Rosen, which is by far the most important. He may not be the answer, but I have hope at least. I thought Rowe looked like he could be a legit #2. Liked what I saw from Charles Harris. Laird/Cox impressed. I know its just preseason, but Baker looks explosive. Game changing talent. Preston Williams could be a star, or he could flop against real #1 defenses. Eg looked good as well. And of course Sanders

When was the last time Miami fans could name 10 new players who could inspire hope?

I have several:
Josh Rosen 99 yard drive for a TD but his play over-all in preseason. Simply impressive. That 40yard dart on the run was spectacular vs Jags. It traveled 52 yards in the air and he went deeper because their was an open receiver in front of Ford and still got it there. Beautiful throw and catch.
Mark Walton barrelling over 4 defenders and still kept goin.... POWER
Preston Williams is going to be special. He is a true play-maker. Possible #1 in the future.
Sam E. Our CFL stud he will be a speed demon and I say he will get us 6 sacks on his own.
Charles Harris I absolutely love his new position he is a RUSH LB and DE in a Nickel/or 4-3 line up. He will be a a stand up LB and he will rush the passer in this formation. We are now a 3-4 Base Defense exactly as the Ravens D Scheme. I love it!
Lammons has a motor on special teams he will be a force to be reckon with.
Laird will be a change up back. Quick and elusive.
I have a man crush on Chandler Cox he is going to ****ing pulverize defenders at the goal and in short yardage.
Rowe distinctive nose for the ball he will get us a few TO's
Minkah "THE HAMMER'" FITZPATRICK. When this kid hits better beware because he will injure you or concuss you. Love him as our SWISS KNIFE!
Matt Haack 50+ Punts are impressive he is GAME READY he'll need to split the field for chances to win.
Gesicki style is going to be stellar in red-zone this year. He has quick burst to get up on the seam route and crosser in the middle. I think he will have a hell of a year.
Albert Wilson thank you for his return he was special last year. I feel he can be again. We have talent and WR LET IT SHINE!!!!
Michael Dieter I am so impress with his run blocking he sprang Ballage on that long run vs the Jags 1s. 22 yard gain. Blew that up. He may be a piece of the puzzle.
