At the beginning of the telecast, the announcers said that shanahan said that Joe Robbie field was the worst in the NFL. Not to say that it is not a fact, but does anyone find that a bit amusing for a head coach to say something like that before a game? I think it reaks of excuse city. If there is one coach I hate....I mean, absolutely hate, its Shanahan. dude is evil. Pure evil.

im sure he was saying thats the reason he lost after the game too...

I do not know what you mean by evil? But I do agree the dude is wierd and a loser.

Hmmm, If I was 0 and 7 at a certain place, I would think it pretty much sucked ace too....hehe

what you dont understand what evil means

no excuses...he was right...

The field was just used on Thursday and there is a rocky baseball infield.

Shanahan Sucks

I have hated Shanahan for years. He always gets credit for being a great coach but he wouldn't have won without Elway. Look at some of his decisions the last few years... Bringing in Plummer and paying him big bucks, using a 3rd round pick for Clarett, bringing in a washed up Jerry Rice?

Did you see the strawberry Champ had on his arm from it, then the guy icing his shoulder puts the ice right on the strawberry. I thought Champ was going to slap the guy LMAO.

He didn't just say it was the worst in the league. He said it was the worst field he's seen in the NFL in a long time.

I don't think that's an excuse. I think that was Mike Shannahan pointing out something dangerous. How many guys did we lose to leg injuries in '03 because of the infield alone??

And that's not even taking into consideration how beat up the grass was.

It's an embarassment to the organization and irresponsible in relation to our players' long term health. And something needs to be done about it. Whether it's Field Turf, whatever. Get the **** fixed. Because "worst NFL field in a long time" is a far cry from the elite reputation this field used to have around the league. This is professional football. And it needs to be played on a professional surface.

If you ever have the chance to step onto that infield before a game, do it. And I guarantee you'll want something done within seconds. It's insane that these guys play on that. It's like playing in the street....that gives way.

The field may not be evil but the dirt part is horrible to play on. Guy's were slipping all over the place. I hope the Marlins don't make the playoff's. We need the dirt gone asap.

what are you talking about? the field is sh!tty.... not many teams in the NFL are so cheap they share a stadium for their baseball and football teams. i can't wait until the Marlins get their own stadium, their infield is really hampering out style.

glad to see Mare got over his fear of kicking FG's on dirt though...
