resembled the Dolphins when they melted just like we consistently have in the 4th quarter???

The had that game in the bag and gave it up - you could feel/sense it coming.....it seemed WAY to familiar to me as a Fins fan.
 
As Dolphins fans maybe there was a sense of knowing they were blowing it. I don't think Green Bay fans are accustomed to choking games away like that. I told my sister, a Packers fan, after the game that how she feels is how Dolphins fans feel when they play NE. Get a lead and then **** the bed.
 
yeah they went into philbin mode that whole 4th qtr. With 4 mins to go only up 9, GB run lacy 3 straight times for negative yards for a quick 3 and out.
 
Maybe Philbin learned it from McCarthy

It seemed like it all started to turn when Seattle was still scoreless, and the Packers D had Seattle in that 3rd and 20+ and didn't rush ANYONE. They just had 3 Dlineman stand there and make sure Wilson didn't scramble, and so Wilson just stood there until someone came open way down field.

That seemed like an extremely stupid playcall to me, and it ended up turning into that crazy fake kick touchdown.
 
That gutless prevent offense in the 4th quarter, definitely brought images of Philbin to my mind. Must be something he learned in Green Bay.
 
Green Bay cannot win without Joe Philbin on their staff. They need him back.

That's the right call...you kill the clock...if not for the onside kick completely botched by a hands team guy the pack the games essentially over...still the 2 point conversion was just brutal the safety is in position to jump that complete prayer and gets shell shock

Crazy game...so many prayers answered for seattle
 
I kind of had that feeling...I had money on Packers/Patriots in the superbowl so the emotional attachment to the Packers today really brought back memories. The difference was that I had confidence in Rodgers getting them in position to at least tie the game after the Seahawks took the lead. If it was a Dolphins game, I would have turned my TV off and walked away after Lynch scored the TD to take the lead.
 
GB really did become lax when they should have sealed the deal. Almost like they expected to win halfway through the 4th.
 
i dont know why the dback who got the last pick hit the deck as if there were :25 left in the game. there was over five min at that point.

I honestly don't think McCarthy is a great coach, I believe he is the beneficiary of an all time great QB. He is better than Philbin, but even Philbin would have won the division with some of those Packer squads and Rodgers.

All I could think of that whole second half was watching a Miami Dolphins game. The resemblance was uncanny.
