That Western Kentucky is going to be a new Division-IA football team in 2009. I think they get to join Conference USA is what it said. Are they a dominant D-IAA team? Or are they just that big of a school? Both?

Actully they will be in the Sunbelt Conference.

the only thing i know about WKU is that they have a really cool mascot.

They are a semi-good team. Some years they seem poised to win it all and some they are just average at best. They are in the top 25 of D 1-AA. They play in the gateway conference are currently,IMO, 5th best in the conference. Keep in mind though it is a very tough conference with at least 5 teams in the top 25 of the country. UNI, Illinois State, Youngstown State, and Southern Illinois are all better than WKU. They play a big game against YSU in Kentucky in two weeks, so we shall see.
