that our 3rd string QB, sage rosenfel was a 4th round pick

and the most recent 3rd string QB was a 2nd round pick (feeley).

paying a 6th and giving away our garbage for a player with more potential than both is a great idea...worst comes to worse, we have ourselves a 2nd/3rd string QB for cheaper than we paid for our previous ones.

I'm guessing you mean feeley was a 2nd b/c thats what we gave philly for him, otherwise feeley was a 5th rounder. I dont really think draft status has anything to do with anything once you are a veteran in the league so really its irrelevant.

Like the previous two replies Sage is a second string QB now, and Feeley was drafted in the fifth round of the NFL draft, one round behind Sage that same year I believe.

The most we could get trading sage is a 5th round pick

possibly a 4th if a team is desperate

I dont see how sage has any trade value once how ever. If a team is desperate they would offere a minimal 7th round pick for sage. Sage is still unproven and not getting any younger, why would a team invest any kind of draft pick in a guy like sage? He's played good in 1 quarter and his one game he started in his career his team got shutout.

shoottt if sage had this much value he would have been gone a long time ago :dolphins:

never know who expected us to give a 2 for feeley... we could of drafted Matt schaub in the second had we not give our 2nd for feeley
