Did anyone else see Wilson b*tch*n our Smith?

Did anyone else see Wilson b*tching out Smith after Tory Holt caught that long pass.

If I was Sparano I would have told him to sit on the bench for the rest of the game and to shut his f*cking mouth becasue Clemons is gonna take over for him. I hate it when people aren't accountable for their mistakes.

It was easy to see they were in a cover 2. In a cover 2 Smith is responsible for the short/intermediate routes and Wilson is there for deep help over the top. Smith did his job covering the first move, but where was Wilson on the second. He was nowhere to be found because he was looking in the backfield hoping to make another hit an Drew.

Even the announcers pointed out that Wilson was peaking in the backfield to long looking for the run and not paying attention to Holt which is why he got burnt on the double move.

I really hope Clemons can man the FS spot next year or we sign/draft someone who can because Wilson just isn't cutting it.
 
I saw it. We have no idea what wilson could of been saying.
 
Wilson sucks he shouldnt say nothing to anybody. Even if it was Sean Smiths fault he still shouldnt say anything cuz hes the worst coverage safety ive seen. I hope they get rid of him.
 
maybe he was trying to pump up Smith.. who knows.. gerbil reminds me of Reggie Howard.. Constantly burnt toast
 
That's how I read what happened on the play.

But, at the same time, we could have the wrong read on the situation.

In the past Miami has actually played their Cover 4 very strangely, sort of inverted to where the safeties have responsibility for the intermediate out and the corners have to keep a bottle on the deep ball. If that's the case then Wilson was right to bite on that out fake and Smith should have been running deep and over top the whole time.

It seems very counter-intuitive but that's how the Dolphins have played it, at times.
 
smith obviously screwed it up... and he should have got bitched out... these young guys need to stop giving up those big plays

it didn't have to be a cover two... if it was i doubt Smith would have been playing 10 yards off the ball at the snap if he had help over the top... he must have had deep coverage, and Wilson maybe was playing an intermediate robber position to switch things up and confuse Garrard
 
I don't see how it's so obvious. If that's a cover two, then the only thing that is obvious is that Wilson screwed up a whole lot more.
 
im saying he obviously screwed it up by the reaction on the sideline... if Girbil screwed it up i dont he'd be bitching at Smith

I hate to speculate, but Wilson looked like he was throwing a temper tantrum like my 18 month old son, and it was all directed at Smith. Also, did you see the look Smith gave Wilson after he turned around. It was like "What the f*ck are you talking about, I play man up in cover 2 with supposed help over the top. I did my job so stop b*tchin and do yours, cuz Holt burned your a** not mine, you overpriced FS wanna be piece of trash"

I think someone pointed out that Joey Porter came over while Gibril was bitching at Smith, and told him to shut the hell up because it was him that screwed the pooch.

There's nothing obvious about that play.

even if so,a safetys primary job is to prevent the deep ball,which he evidently did not do,so theres no excuse....

haha... right people know what Porter went over and said now too?

people wanna get at Wilson and rightfully so about his play overall, but lets look at that one play...

- Smith is playing 10 yards off at the snap, if it was a cover 2 he'd be playing right on the line

- Wilson broke down on Holt, meaning he most likely had the underneath zone there

- Wilson would not be bugging out at his teammate if he ****ed up the play... be serious, Wilson isn't that type regardless of how bad hes played this year...

Smith screwed it up, and Wilson got at him, no biggie it happens
 
It was pointed out by the announcers with the teleprompter and actually breaking the play down a couple times that the Fins were in cover 2.
