....That Joey looked PISSED when they dumped the water on him (it was clear, so I'm assuming it was water, or Gatorade Ice, lol)? I was shocked, he like rolled his eyes and clenched his lips in anger. It kind of pissed me off. I mean, I liek Harrington, I liked him since his Oregon days and always folled his career (if you can call it that) in Detroit, but man, that made me mad. He wants to be the leader of the team, and wants to fit in, especially given what he went through in Detroit, and that whole "Joey isn't in the inner circle" crap, and so they give him a bath after a big win for him in his career and he gets pissed? A great QB/teammate would have turned around and laughed and hugged or shaken the hands of the players who dumped it on him. Instead he got pissed and just walked away, and continued to look pissed as the cameras kept watching him. He was not only making the mad face but he was like wiping his jersey and looking down in disgust. It's just friggin' water Joey. If I was the QB, and even if I HATED water (for some reason, IDK what would make me hate water, lol) and we were at Lambeau Field in a blizzard in December I would have turned around and celebrated with those guys, because ti shows me that I'm accepted as the team leader (it's not often PLAYERS get the bath), and they have faith in me, the least I could do would be to aknowledge them, but he just got pissed and didn't even turn around, he walked away :rolleyes2
 
i didnt look to me that he was pissed, mab he had that look for a sec bc he had just gotten freezing water poured on him, but it seemed to me that he was rlly happy after the game during his interview and that he was also happy about sticking it to the lions fans, and the orginazation

You might want to get your eyes checked...

To me, he didnt look pissed at all.. He just looked like he was trying to downplay it.. Maybe he thought it was a bit much, but you could TELL after the game that he really appreciated all of the suport from his teamates.
 
He didn't look pissed to me either.

Nobody smiles when Ice cold water is dumped on them, at least not right away...:evil:

Dont know what you saw but to me he looked more embarrassed and humble than unhappy. :confused: Joey looked like he had just won a game against his former team on their own patch and on Thanksgiving!
 
I think your making too much out of this 51. I did notice the facial expression you are referring to, but he wasnt exactly expecting ice cold water to be dumped on him after beating the hapless Lions. I think that picture posted here says alot, once he got past the insta-chill factor, he was all smiles and joking around.

Though Im sure he would have much rather gotten a gatorade bath after a big win streak that sneaks the phins into the playoffs. Hopefully still to come :dolphins:
 
Like I said, I don't HATE Joey now, but he definately looked pissed when it happened. That picture is from after the fact, and saying he looked happy after the game is a moot point because I was saying when it happened he looked pissed. If you DVRed it go watch again, he like rolls his eyes and bites his lip, doesn't even turn around or crack a smile, then just walks away from the guys who poured it on him, and the camera follws him and he is like looking down and wiping his jersey like he just got a stain on it or something. I saw him happy after the game and all, but my point was how he reacted when it happened.
