Man, I finally saw how utterly pathetic our team is. Watching the Ravens, San Diego, Colts and Denver play, I see that we suck something awful! These teams and others (Bears) play some quick offense and put up points like they're chewing gum. I dont know why I havent seen it until this point but our offense is truly deplorable. Cant Saban see theese things? I dont know if firing Mularkey is the answer, but someone needs to get a fire lit under these guys. I could go on about our secondary, you know things like dropping interceptions that HIT YOU IN THE CHEST!
It is the coach that is supposed to get these guys in shape. It's not happening. The offense has to find something it does best and do it alot.
I would like to think we will be up for the Bears.
I personally think if we lose this game, and the Bears roll to being undefeated, this game will be played all the time on NFL highlights showing how bad the Fins were and that Saban was the coach who lost the streak.:fire:

Watching the rest of the NFL play does have a sobering effect for Dolphin fans  Even the Raiders managed to beat the Steelers this weekend :fire:

:shakeno:  Yes, I saw how Saban dropped those picks and missed on those blocks, and how it all fall on nick's lap!??? ONCE Nick is gone we stop dropping passes, make our blocks and tackles and become a dynasty and raise the Lombardi trophy!!! Why did'nt I think of this. And by the way, if you really did watch yesterday, you would have seen we are far from being alone when it comes to poor execution, penalties, dropped passes and questionable decisions not by just the poor teams but by the better ones too. And I am sure we got Saban Just to make sure the undefeated streak continuues.......really unbelievable!!!:shakeno:

Personally it felt great to watch football and not be upset or frustrated about watching the Fins go at it.. I don't blame coaches at this point although our offense is looking remarkably like Buffalo's from a year ago and Eric Moulds was complaining about his production.. Looks like we carried that over to us with Chris Chambers becoming the 4th or 5th option on offense.. At any rate our players aren't that good, our schemes aren't that good and that's why we are the worst team in the league right now.. But the good news is that we have to go through these bad years to get to the good ones.. And when I say good ones I'm not talking about going 9-7 and just missing the playoffs or 10-6 and getting pounded in the first round.. I'm talking 12-4 and going deeeeep into the playoffs, and hopefully to the promised land..

I watched, and nothing I saw had any reflection on Saban, good or bad. The players have to make the catches, the coach can't make them for them.

But that's with Rothlesberger at QB...I guarantee if Big Ben had started in week one, we'd have 2 wins right now

you guys can suck up to saban, but this weekend was a terribly depressing weekend for true dolfans ! In years past a bye week was a time to rejuvenate along with the team and watch the other teams play trying to figure what 'wins and losses" would benefit us most. Well that was impossible to do with a 1-6 team! I found myself toward the end of the afternoon following the scores of the 1 win teams like ourselves and hoping they'd win to solidy our draft ranking for 2007... that's sick! Well here we are tied for the cellar with Arizona! Arizona is use to this ... we're not! yeah the players suck, but for the most part it's the same players that we've been respectable with the past 8-9 years. There is one difference: the sabanator! while Nick cruised the intercoastal in his yacht, we sat there drowning in our 1-6 misery. Thanks, Nick!...for nothing!

I cannot disagree that it is depressing being 1-6 but all the facts that you presented were OVERWHELMING that this is all Sabans fault. If being a Saban suck up means putting blame where it belongs, not jumping ship, keeping faith that there is a plan in place to fix this, then count me in!!!! Despite of the hype, did you think we were going to the Super Bowl....Really? I didn't think we would be 1-6.... But I knew there were a bunch of teams in the A.F.C. that were better than us. After reading your post I can say...And may I quote you.. Thanks...FOR NOTHING!!!!:fire:

the best part of the weekend games

Was to see Damon Huard and Sage Rosenfel light it up...too bad we couldn't get QB's like that..

Here in Colorado the Denver Donkeys are on every week. I watched how the Bronco's offensive line worked against the Colts yesterday.....they have a lot of smaller sized but quick O-lineman that open up huge holes. You also rarely see a guy allowing Jake Plummer to get sacked, and usually when Plummer gets sacked it is because he holds it too long. The Broncos lost their starting LT (Matt Lepsis) yet you wuold hardly have noticed it as they kept the Colts, and Dwight Freeney, away from Plummer all game long. It also seems that the Broncos can get any guy off the street and he will get over 1000 yards rushing/season because of the blocking by Denver's OL. You have to wonder why Denver is able to do this year after year, and Miami gets lineman who can't rush block, pass block, or keep from false starting all the time.

most of them are guys nick brought in. so they are dropping picks and missing blocks, but saban is the one dropping the ball on FAs and draft picks.

The only icing we could have added to that would have been if Shawn Merriman injured Marc Bulger on one of his 500 sacks yesterday. Then we could see 4 of our former QBs playing yesterday.

Huard = loser get rid of him
Fiedler = elite passer keep him
Lucas = omg he is the next, um, the next, uh...well keep him
Griese = what? he didnt win us the super bowl? get rid of him
Feeley = only a second rounder, what a steal! keep him!
Frerotte = a wise guy, thinks he can win games, get rid of him
Rosenfels = his name isnt cool enough, get rid of him
Harrington = he makes poor decisions and loses constantly, GET HIM IN HERE!!
Culpepper = he's the future, what do you mean "ACL, MCL"? Keep him!

Ah, the post Marino era couldnt get any more ironic.

I watched the Eagles get stomped on by...imagine that, the Jags, a team we play later

I watched highlights of the 49ers get throttled by...imagine that, da Bears, a team we play this week.

At least I have NASCAR

Saban will get the credit if and when this thing turns around. For now he most certainly will get the blame. That's the life of a head coach in the NFL......which stands for Not For Long *(tm.) if this turn around doesn't happen soon.

*see Jerry Glanville.
